IPhone 6s has an overall score of 83, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 overall score. The iPhone 6s body is incredibly thinner and a lot lighter than Galaxy S8 Active, even though it was released about 23 months before. The iPhone 6s and the Galaxy S8 Active have quite similar screens, although the Galaxy S8 Active also has a bigger screen, a way better pixel amount per display inch and a lot higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The Apple iPhone 6s counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active shoots clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 6s, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a 12 MP back-facing camera and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way larger aperture for better low-light photography and video.
The Galaxy S8 Active has a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone 6s, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a much longer battery performance than iPhone 6s, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 1715mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 6s is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8 Active. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S8 Active, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
