The Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is slightly better than the iPhone 7's overall score of 81.6. Galaxy A42's body is notably newer, but thicker and much heavier than the iPhone 7. Samsung Galaxy A42 has a processing unit that is just as good as Apple iPhone 7's processing unit, although the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has 2 GB more RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores (although slower).
