The iPhone 7 has a global score of 81.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's general score of 78.1. The iPhone 7 body is way newer, a little bit lighter and thinner than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a brighter display than iPhone 7, because it has a greater display density, a quite bigger screen and a lot higher 1920 x 1080 resolution.
IPhone 7 has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit better processing power than iPhone 7, and although they both have 4 CPU cores and 2 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has an extra graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S5 Plus counts with just a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a much better 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a much better battery performance than Apple iPhone 7, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
