IPhone 7 has a score of 81.6, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active's global score of 75.8. IPhone 7's design is incredibly lighter and a lot thinner than Galaxy S7 Active, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a brighter display than Apple iPhone 7, because although it has way less brightness, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2560 resolution, a bit bigger screen and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.
Apple iPhone 7 counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. The Apple iPhone 7 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Apple iPhone 7 has a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video quality. The Galaxy S7 Active features a superior battery life than Apple iPhone 7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1960mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 7, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, letting go a couple specifications.
