Comparison review
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a general score of 93.2, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPhone 8 Plus's 87.1 global score. IPhone 12 Pro Max is a much newer and just a little bit thinner device than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but it is somewhat heavier. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit faster processing unit than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 64-bits processing unit, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a larger amount of RAM.
IPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit better looking screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has much more brightness, a bigger display, a higher resolution of 1284 x 2778 and a quite higher pixels quantity per inch in the display. The iPhone 8 Plus has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus takes clearer pictures and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and/or video in low light environments, they both have a 12 mega-pixels back-facing camera, the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution.
