IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is slightly better than the iPhone 6 Plus's general score of 80.4. Even though the iPhone 8 Plus is incredibly newer than iPhone 6 Plus, it is a bit thicker and heavier. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a bit better CPU than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a 64 bits CPU, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with 4 more cpu cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a bit sharper screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, although it has way less brightness, they both have a better quantity of pixels per inch of display, a same size display and the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. IPhone 8 Plus features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with a little better battery performance than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 2915mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh. IPhone 8 Plus shoots much clearer photos and videos than iPhone 6 Plus, and although they both have a 0.33 inches back-facing camera sensor, the iPhone 8 Plus also has a larger camera aperture to take better captures in low-light environments, a lot higher resolution back facing camera and a way higher video quality.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, giving up a couple specifications.
