IPhone X is slightly better than iPhone 8 Plus, having a general score of 88.1 against 87.1. IPhone X is a somewhat lighter phone than iPhone 8 Plus, but both of them are equally thin. IPhone X has a slightly better looking screen than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same brightness, the iPhone X also has a little bit higher resolution of 1125 x 2436px, a quite larger display and a little better pixel number per display inch.
The iPhone X has as much memory to install applications and games as the iPhone 8 Plus, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. The iPhone X's processor is very similar to the processor in iPhone 8 Plus, both have a Hexa-Core processor, a 64 bits processor and the same RAM amount. IPhone X features a camera that's just as good as Apple iPhone 8 Plus's camera, both of them have the same resolution camera, the same video frame rates, a F1.8 camera aperture, the same video resolution and a 0.33 inches camera sensor.
The Apple iPhone X has just a bit longer battery performance than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 2716mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh.
Although iPhone X is a better device, it is more expensive than the iPhone 8 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPhone 8 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the iPhone X, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the iPhone 8 Plus, letting go some features and specifications.
