Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, having an 87.1 score against 82.9. Even though the Apple iPhone 8 Plus is noticeably older and much heavier than the Google Pixel 4a, it's construction is still a little thinner. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit lower display density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The iPhone 8 Plus has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less cpu cores , it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
IPhone 8 Plus shoots a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, a lower 3840x2160 video definition, a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs and videos.
The Google Pixel 4a has longer battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3140mAh battery size.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 4a. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 4a, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
