Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is much better than HTC U Ultra's 77 overall score. Although the iPhone 8 Plus and the HTC U Ultra were released with only a few months difference, the iPhone 8 Plus construction is somewhat heavier but also just a little thinner than the HTC U Ultra. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a little bit better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, although it has a quite inferior pixels count per display inch, a much lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit smaller screen.
HTC U Ultra counts with a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a quite superior hardware performance than HTC U Ultra, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and 2 more CPU cores.
The HTC U Ultra counts with just a little better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. The iPhone 8 Plus shoots a little bit better photos and videos than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a way smaller sensor capturing lot worse quality images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a camera with a 12 mega pixels and the same camera aperture, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with higher video frame rate.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus costs more money than the HTC U Ultra, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
