Comparison review

The iPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is better than HTC U11's 77.6 general score. Although the iPhone 8 Plus and HTC U11 were released only 4 months apart, iPhone 8 Plus's body is a little bit thinner but also heavier. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with just a little better processing power than HTC U11, because although it has less RAM memory and lesser and slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.

HTC U11 features a bit more vivid display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a display with the same size, the HTC U11 also has a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixels density. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.

The HTC U11 has just a bit better battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2691mAh. IPhone 8 Plus takes clearer photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting lower quality videos and images and a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photos or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with faster video frame rates.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC U11, giving up some specifications.
