Apple iPhone 8 Plus is just a bit better than Huawei nova 5T, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 80.8. Apple iPhone 8 Plus's design is just a bit thinner than the Huawei nova 5T, but it's somewhat heavier and was released many years before. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei nova 5T, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a just a bit lower pixel number in each inch of display.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus features just a bit better processing power than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a superior memory to install games and applications than Huawei nova 5T, because it has more internal storage.
The Huawei nova 5T has a much longer battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 39% larger battery size. Huawei nova 5T counts with a better camera than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a lot bigger sensor taking much higher quality pictures and videos and a lot more mega pixels camera in the back.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei nova 5T, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
