IPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Huawei Nova 9's general score of 81. Even though the iPhone 8 Plus is way older and somewhat heavier than the Huawei Nova 9, it's body is still a little thinner. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has less and slower cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit better screen than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixels density. The iPhone 8 Plus has a very superior memory for apps and games than Huawei Nova 9, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Nova 9 features a way better battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2691mAh. Huawei Nova 9 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Nova 9 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
