IPhone 8 Plus has a general score of 87.1, which is slightly better than Huawei P30's 81.7 score. IPhone 8 Plus is a somewhat heavier cellphone than Huawei P30, but both are equally thin. IPhone 8 Plus features a little bit better display than Huawei P30, although it has a little smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bit worse display density.
IPhone 8 Plus has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit better processor than Huawei P30, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory and 2 lesser and slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
Huawei P30 has a much better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 36% larger battery size. Huawei P30 has a much better camera than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P30 also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher resolution camera.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P30. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei P30, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
