IPhone 8 Plus is a bit better than the Galaxy A51, having a overall score of 87.1 against 85.5. IPhone 8 Plus is a much older and somewhat heavier phone than the Galaxy A51, but Apple managed to make it just a little bit thinner anyway. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy A51, because although it has 2 lesser cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A51, although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quite smaller display and a quite lower pixels amount in each display inch. The Samsung Galaxy A51 features just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Galaxy A51 features a very superior battery performance than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Galaxy A51 captures better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos and slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A51. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A51, letting go some specifications.
