Apple iPhone 8 Plus is better than Samsung Galaxy A70, getting an 87.1 score against 76.9. Apple iPhone 8 Plus's body is just a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A70, but it's just a bit heavier and was released just 19 months before. IPhone 8 Plus features a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display pixels density. Galaxy A70 counts with a bit more storage for games and applications than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy A70 features a much longer battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 2691mAh. IPhone 8 Plus captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.

So if you want that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A70, giving up some features and specifications.
