IPhone 8 Plus is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 3, having an 87.1 score against 81.2. Even though iPhone 8 Plus is heavier than the Galaxy Note 3, it's just a bit thinner and notably newer. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit more vivid screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a bit worse pixels quantity per display inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a quite larger display.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with more cores and a 64-bit processing unit.
