The Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is a little bit better than the iPhone 8 Plus's 87.1 overall score. Although the Galaxy S20 is a little thicker than iPhone 8 Plus, it's lighter and also noticeably newer. Galaxy S20 has a little sharper screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a better count of pixels per inch of display, a quite larger display and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy S20, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Galaxy S20 counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy S20 has a much better battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little bit better camera than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a lot larger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is a little more expensive than the iPhone 8 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
