The iPhone 8 Plus has a global score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S7's 79.5 overall score. IPhone 8 Plus's body is newer and just a little thinner, but much heavier than Galaxy S7. IPhone 8 Plus has a superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit.
The Galaxy S7 features a much better looking display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a brighter screen, a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher display density. IPhone 8 Plus has a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a little better battery performance than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2691mAh. IPhone 8 Plus captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality photographs, and they both have a back camera with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same (4K) video quality, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better video frame rate.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S7, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
