Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8's 81.7 general score. Even though iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8 were released with only a couple months difference, iPhone 8 Plus's construction is way heavier but a little bit thinner. IPhone 8 Plus features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
The Galaxy S8 features a bit sharper display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a higher number of pixels per inch in the display, a little bit larger display and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a smaller sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a 12 mega-pixels resolution, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Galaxy S8 counts with a little longer battery life than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2691mAh.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S8. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S8, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
