Comparison review

Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, getting an 87.1 score against 79.8. Apple iPhone 8 Plus's design is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. The iPhone 8 Plus features a little better processing power than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a 64-bit CPU.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better looking display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much higher 3840 x 2160px resolution and a way better display pixel density. The iPhone 8 Plus features a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition and the same aperture, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot higher 23 mega pixels resolution back camera.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with better battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 27% more battery size.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save some money and buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go a couple features and specs.
