Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, getting an 87.1 score against 83.8. The iPhone 8 Plus body is a little heavier but just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, and they were only released 6 months apart. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has an inferior number of cores and they are also slower and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, although it has a bit smaller screen, a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little worse pixel density. The iPhone 8 Plus captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back camera with a 12 mega-pixels and a same size aperture, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with faster video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has as much storage capacity to install games and applications as iPhone 8 Plus, they have the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3400mAh battery size against 2691mAh.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
