The Apple iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting a general score of 87.1 against 79. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus construction is a little lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it was released 3 years before. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM and 2 less CPU cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures much better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have a same size aperture and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a much more mega-pixels back camera and a lot bigger camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a greater storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a much better battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning a couple features and specifications.
