IPhone SE (2020) is slightly better than Google Pixel 3a, getting a overall score of 81.5 against 78.8. The iPhone SE (2020) works with iOS 15.x OS, and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 OS. The iPhone SE (2020) body is newer and just a little bit thinner than the Google Pixel 3a's, although it is just a little bit heavier.
Google Pixel 3a counts with a display that's just as good as the display in Apple iPhone SE (2020), although the Google Pixel 3a also has a lot better 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution, a larger screen and a higher pixels count per inch of screen. IPhone SE (2020) and Google Pixel 3a both have very similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same internal storage.
The Apple iPhone SE (2020) has a faster processing unit than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. Google Pixel 3a features a superior battery lifetime than iPhone SE (2020), because it has a 65% larger battery size.
The Apple iPhone SE (2020) shoots clearer videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a, although it has a lower (4K) video quality, a back facing camera with a worse resolution and a smaller sensor taking lower quality images, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
Although iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 3a. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
