Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than the Apple iPhone SE, getting a 78.7 score against 75.7. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's design has the same thickness than Apple iPhone SE, but it is heavier. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better processing power than iPhone SE, because it has a larger number of faster cores and 4 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more vivid display than iPhone SE, because it has a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a lot bigger screen and a much better display pixel density. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage capacity to store more games and applications is very similar to Apple iPhone SE's one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much longer battery duration than Apple iPhone SE, because it has a 146 percent more battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro shoots clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPhone SE, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a F2.2 aperture, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a larger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than iPhone SE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPhone SE. If you want to save some money, you can buy the iPhone SE, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
