Comparison review
The iPhone X is slightly better than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, with an 88.1 score against 87.1. The iPhone X design has the same thickness than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but it's lighter. The iPhone X has a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same brightness, the iPhone X also has a bit larger display, a just a little higher screen pixels density and a bit higher resolution of 1125 x 2436px.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a processor that's just as good as the processing unit in iPhone X, they have the same number of cores, a 64-bits processing unit and the same RAM amount. IPhone 8 Plus has a camera that's very similar to the camera in iPhone X, both of them have a F1.8 aperture, the same resolution back camera, the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same back camera sensor size and the same 3840x2160 video quality.
The iPhone 8 Plus's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the iPhone X one, both have the same internal memory capacity. IPhone X counts with a little better battery performance than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 2716mAh battery capacity against 2691mAh.
Although iPhone X is a better device, it costs more money than the iPhone 8 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPhone 8 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
