The Apple iPhone X is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, having an 88.1 score against 80.4. The Apple iPhone X body is just a bit thinner but just a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and both were only released 4 months apart. The iPhone X features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor.
The iPhone X has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display and a quite lower 1125 x 2436px resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. IPhone X counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features better battery performance than Apple iPhone X, because it has an 18% greater battery capacity. Apple iPhone X features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking pictures and videos in low-light environments and a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the Apple iPhone X also counts with better video frame rate.

If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
