Comparison review

The Apple iPhone X is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, getting an 88.1 score against 83. Even when Apple iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy Note8 were released only 2 months apart, Apple iPhone X is lighter and somewhat thinner. The Apple iPhone X has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.

The Apple iPhone X counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a little bit smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 1125 x 2436px and a little worse display pixel density. Apple iPhone X takes clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller sensor giving a lower image quality and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 12 mega-pixels back facing camera, the Apple iPhone X also counts with better video frame rate.

IPhone X counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with improved battery duration than iPhone X, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 2716mAh.

Although iPhone X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note8, giving up a couple specs and features.
