Comparison review
IPhone X is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8, getting an 88.1 score against 81.7. Although iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S8 were released only 7 months apart, the iPhone X body is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner. IPhone X features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has lesser processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
Galaxy S8 has a screen that is very similar to the display in Apple iPhone X, and although the Galaxy S8 has a just a little higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, they both have a same size display. The Apple iPhone X features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Galaxy S8 features just a bit longer battery duration than iPhone X, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. IPhone X has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in poorly lited situations and a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have the same resolution back camera and the same video quality, the iPhone X also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates.
Although iPhone X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy S8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
