Comparison review
IPhone XR is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, with an 82 score against 79.3. The iPhone XR is a noticeably newer phone than the Galaxy Note 5, but it is somewhat heavier and just a little thicker. The Apple iPhone XR has a very superior processing power than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a 64-bits CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a much better screen than Apple iPhone XR, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher display density and a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note 5's storage for games and applications is just as good as the Apple iPhone XR one, both of them have equal internal storage capacity.
The iPhone XR has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a back camera with much less mega pixels and a worse video definition, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a bigger aperture. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Apple iPhone XR, although the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone XR is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone XR, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note 5, letting go a couple features and specs.
