Comparison review
The iPhone XS has a score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 general score. IPhone XS's body is notably newer and much thinner, but somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9. The HTC One M9 has a bit sharper display than iPhone XS, although it has a little smaller display, a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.
IPhone XS counts with just a bit better hardware performance than HTC One M9, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a 64-bits CPU, the iPhone XS also counts with more RAM. The HTC One M9 features a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone XS, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
HTC One M9 has just a little bit longer battery life than iPhone XS, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size. HTC One M9's camera is just as good as the Apple iPhone XS one, because although the HTC One M9 has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a lot higher 20 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger sensor.
Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
