Apple iPhone XS has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018)'s score of 79.2. Even though the Apple iPhone XS and Galaxy A8 (2018) were released with only 9 months difference, Apple iPhone XS's body is a bit thinner but also a little bit heavier. The iPhone XS counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a bit higher quantity of pixels per display inch, a bit higher resolution of 1125 x 2436px and a little bit bigger screen.
Galaxy A8 (2018) features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Apple iPhone XS, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. IPhone XS counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has 2 less CPU cores , and they both have a 4 GB RAM, the iPhone XS also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The Apple iPhone XS has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a camera in the back with lot less MP and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a way better (4K) video definition.
