Comparison review

The Apple iPhone XS has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 5's overall score of 79.3. The Apple iPhone XS body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but it's just a little heavier. Apple iPhone XS features a very superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone XS also has a 64-bits CPU and a greater number of cores.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a little sharper display than iPhone XS, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen density and a slightly higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as iPhone XS's one, both of them have the same 64 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Note 5 has a little longer battery lifetime than Apple iPhone XS, because it has a 3000mAh battery size. The iPhone XS counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot lower resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Although iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
