The iPhone XS is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, with a overall score of 84.2 against 78.1. Even though iPhone XS is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's a little thinner and a lot newer. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little sharper display than Apple iPhone XS, although it has a little inferior pixel number in each inch of screen, a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
