The Apple iPhone XS has a general score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 score. The Apple iPhone XS body has the same thickness than Galaxy S7 edge, but it is somewhat heavier. IPhone XS has a slightly better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1125 x 2436 and a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bigger memory to install applications and games than iPhone XS, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 200 GB. Apple iPhone XS counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPhone XS also has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a 64 bits processing unit.
The iPhone XS captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light captures, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the iPhone XS also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a very superior battery lifetime than iPhone XS, because it has a 35% bigger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone XS, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, giving up some features and specifications.
