Comparison review
Apple iPhone XS is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S8, having an 84.2 score against 81.7. The Apple iPhone XS design is newer and a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone XS feature extremely similar screens, and although the Galaxy S8 has a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, they both have a display with the same size.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than iPhone XS, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 256 GB. IPhone XS features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 4 GB RAM, the iPhone XS also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Galaxy S8 features just a little better battery life than iPhone XS, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2659mAh. Apple iPhone XS captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video resolution, a same resolution back camera and a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, the Apple iPhone XS also counts with higher video frame rates.
Although iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone XS, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, resigning some features and specs.
