IPhone XS is a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium, with a overall score of 84.2 against 79.8. The iPhone XS is a notably newer cellphone, and it's also a little bit lighter and a little thinner than the Xperia Z5 Premium. The Apple iPhone XS counts with a bit faster CPU than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has an inferior number of cores and doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a 64 bits processing unit.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a sharper screen than Apple iPhone XS, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone XS, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a lot higher resolution back facing camera and a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone XS, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 200 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features improved battery performance than iPhone XS, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone XS, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z5 Premium, resigning a couple features and specifications.
