Comparison review

HTC Desire is slightly better than ARCHOS 40b Titanium, having a score of 50.6 against 46.4. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Desire has 2.2 version and ARCHOS 40b Titanium has Android 4.2.2 version. HTC Desire's construction is way older, thicker and somewhat heavier than the ARCHOS 40b Titanium.

HTC Desire features a little more vivid screen than ARCHOS 40b Titanium, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 480 resolution, the HTC Desire also counts with a just a little higher screen density. ARCHOS 40b Titanium has a very superior storage for games and applications than HTC Desire, although it has no slot for external memory cards.

ARCHOS 40b Titanium has a bit better processor than HTC Desire, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a better 500 MHz graphics processor. The ARCHOS 40b Titanium takes clearer photographs and videos than HTC Desire. Both have the same resolution back camera.

The HTC Desire and ARCHOS 40b Titanium feature very similar battery performance.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, HTC Desire is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
