Comparison review
Galaxy S III is a bit better than Asus Padfone 2, getting a 70 score against 65. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S III has the previous 4.3 version and Asus Padfone 2 has Android 4.4. The Galaxy S III is a a little bit lighter and a little thinner phone than the Asus Padfone 2, even though both were only released with a couple of months difference.
The Asus Padfone 2 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy S III, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Asus Padfone 2 also counts with a just a little better pixels density. The Asus Padfone 2 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor, the Asus Padfone 2 also has a greater number of 1.5 GHz cores.
Galaxy S III counts with a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Asus Padfone 2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Asus Padfone 2 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Asus Padfone 2 also has a bigger aperture and a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Asus Padfone 2 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has 2140mAh of battery capacity against 2100mAh.
Galaxy S III is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
