Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has newer 5.0 version while Asus Padfone 2 has Android 4.4. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a a lot newer cellphone, and it's also thinner and a little bit lighter than the Asus Padfone 2.
