Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a score of 87.4, which is much better than the HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition is a lot newer than HTC One M9, it is a little thicker and extremely heavier. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has newer 10 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing the user some extra features and increased performance.
HTC One M9 features a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel number per inch in the display. Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The HTC One M9 counts with just a little better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics processing unit. The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition counts with a really longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a lot better camera than HTC One M9, because it has a much higher video resolution, a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back, a bigger aperture to capture better images in low light situations and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos.
