Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a general score of 87.4, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's global score of 80.9. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0, providing the user some nice extra features and better performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels count in each screen inch and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Galaxy S6 Active has a little faster CPU than Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bit processor.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition features much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a really longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition captures way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a lot better resolution camera in the back, a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a way larger sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality.
