Asus ROG Phone 3 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, having an 86.3 score against 85.5. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, Asus ROG Phone 3's body is older, just a little bit thicker and a little heavier than the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip. Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a display that is just as good as the screen in Asus ROG Phone 3, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a bit higher pixels density, a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit larger display, they both have the same brightness.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has an external SD slot that allows up to 2 TB. Asus ROG Phone 3 features a bit faster processor than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 3 captures clearer photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip. Both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a 64 MP back facing camera, the same back-facing camera sensor size, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 7680x4320 video definition. Asus ROG Phone 3 features superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
