Comparison review
LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 3's global score of 86.3. The LG Velvet construction is a lot thinner and noticeably lighter than Asus ROG Phone 3, even when they were only released 2 months apart. The Asus ROG Phone 3 features a bit more powerful processor than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 3 features a bit more vivid display than LG Velvet, although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, a bit worse pixel quantity per inch in the display and a little smaller display. The LG Velvet counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ROG Phone 3 features a much better battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 3 captures much better videos and photos than LG Velvet, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a way better 64 MP resolution back-facing camera, a much better video definition and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
