Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an overall score of 94.6, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 3's score of 86.3. Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Asus ROG Phone 3 were only released 2 months apart, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is much thinner but heavier than the Asus ROG Phone 3.
Asus ROG Phone 3 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a very superior memory for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 3, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2's processing unit is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 3's CPU, both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 3 features longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 33% greater battery size. Asus ROG Phone 3 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a much better 64 megapixels resolution back camera and a way better 7680x4320 video resolution.
