Asus ROG Phone 3 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting a global score of 86.3 against 82.2. Asus ROG Phone 3 is a newer and thinner device than Xperia XZ2 Premium, although it's a bit heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has less brightness and a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher display pixels density and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a much longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3540mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 3 features a very superior camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a way better 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot more mega pixels camera and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
