The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a score of 94, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's 91.1 overall score. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate construction is noticeably thicker and just a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a much faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a little more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, because although it has a quite worse pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display, much more brightness and a better resolution of 1968 x 2184px.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse 64 megapixels resolution, they both have a F1.8 aperture. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with as much storage capacity for applications and games as Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, both have exactly the same 512 GB internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
