Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a 79.6 score against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro body is a lot newer, but notably heavier and notably thicker than the Huawei Mate 8. The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro has a better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit higher screen density, a bit larger display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2448px.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, although it has 14 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate 8 takes much better photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution. Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro counts with a much longer battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
