The Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro's general score of 79.6. Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro has Android 12. Samsung Galaxy A42's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released about a year before.
