Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 6D has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's overall score of 79.5. Although it's the best phone we are comparing, we must tell that it's also older, somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 6D has older 12 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
The Asus ROG Phone 6D counts with a little faster processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 6D also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 6D, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixels density and a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, and they both have a display of the same size, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with way more brightness.
Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone 6D. Both of them have a same size aperture, a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate, a same size camera sensor and the same 7680x4320 video resolution. Asus ROG Phone 8's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Asus ROG Phone 6D one, they have the same internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 6D has just a bit better battery lifetime than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
