Asus ROG Phone 6D is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), with a 79.8 score against 75.8. Even though Asus ROG Phone 6D is notably newer than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), it's extremely heavier and a lot thicker. Asus ROG Phone 6D counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a quite lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a much bigger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels.
